Thank You to Angela's Grandparents!

I was glancing at the calendar as I walked by today and saw that Grandparent's Day is coming up on September 7. I thought about Angela's grandparents and great-grandparents and how blessed this little girl is to have such amazing individuals for grandparents. Each of these individuals brings his or her own strengths and interests into Angela's life. She is so fortunate! In fact, we are all so blessed to call these people our family! We have such a big and loving family on both sides. We are so fortunate that the most difficult challenge it brings is how to spend an equal amount of time with all of them!

Unfortunately, some of Angela's great-grandparents have already passed away and she will never get the chance to know them. It is always good to know she has some amazing guardian angels, though! Knowing what I know about some of these individuals, I do wish Angela would have a chance to know and meet them.

Angela's Grandma's and Great-Grandma's are some of the most supportive, encouraging, positive women I know. She is so blessed to have these women as role models and strong female figures in her life.

Angela's Grandpa's and Great-Grandpa's are some of the strongest, most hard-working, positive men. She will learn many important lessons from these men in her life.

So I want to say thank you to each of these individuals.  Thank you for the love you've shown to me, all you have taught me, and the positive influence you have been in my own personal life. Thank you for the love and gifts you've brought into Matt's life as well. And thank you for being one of Angela's grandparents. Thank you for loving her so much, supporting us in our new role as parents, accepting us for our differences, and always being there. We know we can always count on each and every one of you. We are so blessed.

Thank you!

Love, Katie, Matt, and Angela
